Elden Ring: Black Knife Tiche Location and Alecto Route

Black Knife Tiche comes from Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader, in Ringleader’s Evergaol. This is a late-route reward because the Evergaol is on Moonlight Altar, not on the ordinary Liurnia shoreline.

Arrive at Moonlight Altar first

The Evergaol is at the northwestern tip of Moonlight Altar. To get there, advance Ranni’s quest through Ainsel River and Lake of Rot, defeat Astel, collect the Dark Moon Ring from Rennala’s library, and take the now-open lift to Moonlight Altar. Touch its Site of Grace before you challenge Alecto so the return trip is short if the duel goes badly.

The Evergaol’s center symbol starts the fight. Once you enter, there is no normal exit: the encounter ends when you defeat its prisoner or die. That rule matters more here than on a field boss, because you cannot walk away halfway through a failed first attempt.

Prepare for an actual solo duel

Evergaols do not allow Spirit Ashes or co-op summons. Plan around your own flask use and the weapon you brought instead of expecting a summon to hold Alecto still.

Alecto is immune to poison, rot, bleed, sleep, madness, and death effects. Do not base this attempt on building one of those statuses. Frostbite is the listed exception among her status defenses, but it is still only one part of the fight; clean spacing and safe recovery windows remain the route’s reliable foundation.

Claim the ash and decide where it fits

Defeat Alecto to receive Black Knife Tiche. The Evergaol has one boss and one named reward, so there is no chest route to search afterward.

Tiche costs 132 FP to summon in areas that allow Spirit Ashes. Check that your FP bar reaches that amount before relying on her for a boss. She upgrades with Ghost Glovewort. Her Blade of Death inflicts percentage-based damage, but its effect does not stack with the player’s own Black Knife Blade of Death. The ash also counts toward the Legendary Ashen Remains achievement.
