World Without End
In 1327 four children in Kingsbridge see a knight bury a letter in the woods after killing two soldiers, and what they have witnessed shapes the rest of their lives. Over the decades that follow, the town has to survive a plague that empties its streets, a war with France that takes its young men, and a prior with plans of his own for the cathedral and everyone who depends on it.
