Season synopsis

Contains spoilers for this season and earlier seasons.

Wanda and Vision begin in a black-and-white Westview that shifts through familiar sitcom decades, while interruptions expose the people and danger outside their domestic life. Wanda gives birth to Billy and Tommy, but Vision learns that the neighbors are real residents held inside her expanding Hex. When he tries to leave, he starts coming apart, and Wanda enlarges the boundary to keep him with her. S.W.O.R.D. director Tyler Hayward uses the crisis to pursue Vision's reassembled body.

Agnes is revealed as the witch Agatha Harkness, who has been testing Wanda and killing the boys' dog. Agatha makes Wanda relive the losses behind Westview: Wanda could not recover Vision's body, and her grief produced the house, her recreated husband, and the Hex. Agatha names Wanda the Scarlet Witch and wants her chaos magic, while Hayward sends the original white-bodied Vision into town. The two Visions fight; the new Vision restores the other's memories, and the original leaves once he understands who he is.

Wanda's fight with Agatha turns on runes that stop Agatha from using magic. Monica Rambeau frees the man posing as Pietro, exposing him as Westview actor Ralph Bohner, and helps the twins hold off S.W.O.R.D. Wanda opens the Hex so residents can leave, but closes it again when her family begins to vanish. She then removes it for good, says goodbye to Vision and the boys, and accepts the anger of the townspeople she imprisoned. Agatha remains in town as Agnes; Wanda leaves alone, later studying the Darkhold as the children's voices reach her.
