Wanda and Vision struggle to settle their crying twins in a home now styled like an eighties sitcom. Agnes arrives to help, then asks Wanda whether she should repeat the scene when Vision objects. He notices the strange exchange, but Wanda brushes it aside. Billy and Tommy rapidly grow into young children and later age themselves again to keep a puppy they name Sparky. Wanda uses magic in front of Agnes, further unsettling Vision's efforts to maintain their ordinary appearance.
Outside Westview, Monica disputes Hayward's description of Wanda as a terrorist. He shows security footage and claims Wanda took Vision's body from S.W.O.R.D. Monica discovers that her clothes retained the properties of the protective equipment she wore into town, meaning the Hex changes physical matter. She sends an era-appropriate drone inside to make contact. Hayward secretly arms it and orders an attack. Wanda emerges with the damaged machine, warns them to leave her home alone, and turns the soldiers' weapons toward their director.
At work, Vision briefly releases Norm from the town's control and hears his fear and pain before restoring the familiar personality. Sparky dies, and Wanda refuses the boys' request to bring him back. Vision later confronts her about the trapped residents and his missing memories. She tries to end the argument with rolling credits, but he continues demanding answers. Wanda says she does not control everything and cannot explain how it began. Their confrontation stops when a stranger arrives claiming to be Pietro. Wanda embraces him despite his different face.
