Season 4

Season synopsis

Contains spoilers for this season and earlier seasons.

With Logan negotiating to sell Waystar Royco to GoJo, Kendall, Shiv and Roman leave the company to build a rival venture, The Hundred. They also compete with their father to buy Pierce Global Media, while Connor campaigns for president and prepares to marry Willa. At Connor’s wedding, the siblings learn Logan has collapsed on his private jet. They cannot reach him before he dies. His death leaves his children without the person who has shaped every contest for control.

Kendall and Roman become interim co-CEOs at Waystar, while Shiv is left outside the company. Matsson’s takeover offer proceeds, and the Roys travel to Norway to negotiate. Later, at a pre-election party, Ebba tells Kendall and Roman that Matsson inflated GoJo’s subscriber numbers in India. The brothers take the information as a way to challenge the deal. On election night, Kendall and Roman back Jeryd Mencken and ATN calls the disputed race for him. At Logan’s funeral the next day, Roman starts a eulogy but breaks down in tears; the protesters who have gathered outside jostle and bloody him after the service.

Kendall and Roman try to stop the GoJo sale, while Shiv secretly works with Matsson and expects to lead the American side of the merged company. Matsson instead chooses Tom as chief executive. Kendall and Roman vote against the sale at the board meeting. Shiv first joins them in backing Kendall for CEO, then changes her mind and casts the deciding vote for the sale. The deal goes through and Tom takes the job. Shiv sits beside him in the car; Roman leaves the contest for a bar, and Kendall ends alone by the water with Logan’s former bodyguard nearby.
