Under a Vampire Moon
Carolyn Connor has come to St Lucia to get away from a marriage she has just escaped, and she has made a vow not to think about men while she is there.
About
Under a Vampire Moon is a paranormal romance by the Canadian writer Lynsay Sands, published as part of the Argeneau series. Most of it takes place on the Caribbean island of St Lucia, where the novel's two main characters meet on holiday.
Carolyn Connor has left a bad marriage behind her and has no wish to think about men at all. What she intends is sun, sea and drinks with small umbrellas in them by the pool, and she is determined to keep to that.
The plan is disturbed by Marguerite Argeneau, who is notorious within her family for her success at bringing people together. Carolyn also meets Christian Notte, who has watched enough of his relatives fall in love to know what it looks like and never expected to do it himself.
What he has to work out is how to tell her what he is without losing her, and the novel is the story of how he goes about it while she works out what she wants next.
