Born to Bite

Born to Bite is a paranormal romance by the Canadian writer Lynsay Sands, published as part of the Argeneau series. The series is set among immortals who live secretly among ordinary people, and each book puts a different pair at the centre of it.

The man at the centre of this one is Armand Argeneau. He has been married three times and all three of his wives have died badly, and the reputation he has acquired as a result is that he is a killer in the bedroom as well as out of it.

Eshe d'Aureus is the enforcer sent to look into it. Her work is to bring rogue vampires to justice, and what she has to decide is whether the man in front of her is guilty, which would make him a target, or innocent, which would make him something else altogether.

Armand is reluctant to open his heart a fourth time, and Eshe arrives on a motorcycle in tight black leather with no intention of being won over. Then accidents begin to happen, and he finds that he may not have long to prove which kind of man he is.
