Season synopsis
Contains spoilers for this season and earlier seasons.
Wednesday returns to Nevermore as an unwilling celebrity, now accompanied by Pugsley, whose electrical powers soon revive a corpse he names Slurp. A vision of Enid’s death makes protecting her friend Wednesday’s priority, but her psychic abilities fail. Murders involving crows lead back to Willow Hill, where Tyler is imprisoned. Wednesday and Uncle Fester uncover LOIS, a secret experiment on captive outcasts. Judi, the daughter of the program’s founder, has acquired control over birds. The escaped patients include Tyler’s supposedly dead mother, Françoise. Tyler kills Laurel, his former master, and throws Wednesday through a window before escaping.
Weems returns as Wednesday’s spirit guide, while Slurp regenerates into Isaac Night, Françoise’s brother and Tyler’s uncle. Isaac once built a machine to cure his sister’s Hyde condition using Gomez’s electrical power, an experiment Morticia stopped before it killed Gomez. Wednesday and Enid’s temporary body swap forces them to understand each other more closely. At school, Bianca is being coerced into using her siren powers to fund principal Barry Dort’s ambitions; his crimes are exposed, and Ajax turns him to stone before a falling chandelier destroys him. Isaac then kidnaps Pugsley to power his rebuilt machine.
Isaac reveals that Thing was originally his severed hand and reattaches him before burying Wednesday alive. Enid rescues her by becoming an alpha werewolf, risking permanent separation from her human form. Wednesday frees Tyler from the machine, and the Addamses save Pugsley. Françoise dies during the confrontation, while Thing tears out Isaac’s mechanical heart. Tyler accepts an invitation from Capri to join other Hydes. Wednesday leaves with Fester to find Enid, now roaming as a wolf. Morticia gives her Ophelia’s journal, and a vision reveals her missing aunt alive in Hester’s basement, writing that Wednesday must die.
