Principal Dort's fundraising scheme becomes clear when he reveals his control over Morning Song and forces Bianca to help him extract Hester's fortune. Holding Bianca's mother gives him leverage, while an amulet protects him from siren commands. Wednesday notices Hester's sudden generosity and confronts Bianca, who admits the truth before making her forget it. Agnes, listening invisibly, restores the missing information. At the gala, Enid and Agnes perform a dance that distracts Dort long enough for Agnes to steal his amulet. With her mother rescued by Ajax, Bianca forces Dort to confess. He threatens her, but Ajax turns him to stone and a falling chandelier destroys him.
Wednesday also learns that Isaac was Gomez's close friend and roommate, although her parents still have more to explain about his death. She searches Galpin's house for the fugitives and recruits Eugene to follow a moth linked to Isaac. Françoise's worsening condition leads Isaac to use Tyler's blood as a temporary treatment, and the family turns its anger toward the Addamses. Enid faces a separate danger: Capri warns that transforming during a full moon could leave her permanently a wolf and hunted by other werewolves. Wednesday promises to find her if that happens. After the gala, Eugene locates Isaac near Nevermore's cemetery, but Wednesday arrives too late. Isaac has already kidnapped Pugsley.
