Season synopsis

Din Djarin and Grogu are travelling together again when Din seeks redemption for removing his helmet. He goes to Mandalore to bathe in the Living Waters, discovering that its surface can still support life. Bo-Katan rescues him from a mechanical captor and later from the waters, where she sees a Mythosaur. Both are welcomed into the covert after returning with proof of the journey.
Elsewhere, former Imperial scientist Pershing tries to continue his research under the New Republic, only for Elia Kane to betray him and sabotage his treatment. On Nevarro, pirates drive Greef Karga's people from their homes. Din persuades the covert to help, and Bo-Katan leads the counterattack. She later defeats Axe Woves to recover her followers. Din gives her the Darksaber because she defeated the creature that had overcome him on Mandalore.
The reunited Mandalorians return to reclaim their home but discover Gideon's hidden base. Paz Vizsla dies covering their retreat. Grogu helps Din escape, and they destroy Gideon's clones before joining Bo-Katan against him. Gideon crushes the Darksaber; Axe crashes the capital ship into the base, and Grogu shields his companions from the flames that consume Gideon. The survivors relight the Great Forge. Din formally adopts Grogu as his apprentice and takes a home on Nevarro, with work from Carson Teva.
