Bo-Katan Kryze travels to Plazir-15 with Din Djarin and Grogu to recover the fleet now led by Axe Woves. Before they can approach the Mandalorian mercenaries, the planet's rulers ask them to investigate dangerous incidents involving its droid workforce. Captain Bombardier and the Duchess depend on those machines to support a life of leisure for their citizens. Their charter restricts armed forces, but Din and Bo-Katan are allowed weapons because they belong to Mandalorian culture.
Din's knowledge of Ugnaught customs helps them obtain leads from the workers maintaining the droids. A pursuit through the city leads to a bar serving machines a lubricant called Nepenthe. Its owner wants to help because further incidents could get his customers replaced. Examining the lubricant reveals tiny droids with a chain code, and the purchase trail leads to Commissioner Helgait, the head of security. He threatens to unleash the workforce on the population, but Bo-Katan stuns him before he can act. The rulers banish him and grant their visitors access to the mercenaries.
Bo-Katan challenges Axe to a duel and defeats him, yet he still questions her claim without the Darksaber. Din explains that the creature on Mandalore defeated and disarmed him before Bo-Katan killed it and rescued him. By their own rules, she defeated the enemy who took the blade from its previous holder. The assembled Mandalorians accept the reasoning, and Din returns the Darksaber to her. Bo-Katan can now reunite her followers with the covert, having recovered both the weapon and command of the fleet.
