Season synopsis
Contains spoilers for this season and earlier seasons.
The Boys hide from the authorities while Butcher tries to reach Becca and her son Ryan inside Vought's compound. Annie stays in the Seven and secretly helps Hughie, leaking the truth that Compound V creates Supes. Stormfront joins the team, courts Homelander and builds a following by directing public anger at supposed enemies. Her pursuit of Kimiko's brother ends with his murder, making the new recruit a personal enemy of the Boys.
Their investigation uncovers Stormfront's earlier identity as Liberty, her Nazi past and experiments at Sage Grove designed to stabilize Compound V in adults. Lamplighter becomes a possible witness against Vought, but the effort to expose the company collapses into a congressional massacre as people's heads explode. Hughie and Annie still seek evidence rather than another killing spree. A-Train gives them records that allow them to publicly expose Stormfront's history.
Butcher abandons a deal to surrender Ryan to Vought and helps Becca rescue him. Maeve, Annie and Kimiko fight Stormfront, but she reaches Becca and begins choking her. Ryan's blast disables Stormfront and accidentally mortally wounds his mother. Butcher honors Becca's request to protect him, and Maeve uses footage of the abandoned airliner to force Homelander to let them leave. The Boys are cleared, but Hughie's new employer Victoria Neuman is secretly the killer behind the exploding heads.
