Bring Silkspear to The Marrow station

Bell Beast is trapped in Silk at The Marrow Bellway Station. You need Silkspear to free her, and the fight begins immediately after. Rest at The Marrow bench before entering the station, then keep Silk available for Bind instead of spending it all on ranged damage. The win opens Bellway travel and reveals the first Silk Heart, so it is a major early checkpoint.

The key tell is the dust cloud under the ground. Bell Beast spends most of the fight burrowed, but the height and position of the rumble tell you what she is about to do. Look at the dust first; do not chase where you last saw her.

Learn the three phase-one answers

The fight always opens with Charge. She crosses the arena from one end to the other. Jump the line, let her leave the screen, then turn back toward open ground. A taller dust cloud and growl signal Leap: she crosses through the air and pauses briefly after landing. That pause is the cleanest time for a Needle hit or two, followed by a retreat.

After she has taken enough damage, Bell Burst joins the pattern. She emerges near Hornet and sends two rolling bells away in opposite directions. Do not run at the burst. Step clear of the bells, watch their paths, then use the space behind them once it is safe.

Slow down when the bells fall

At the second phase threshold, Bell Beast roars, burrows, and a series of ceiling bells drops into the arena. They bounce once, so the first safe-looking patch can disappear quickly. Stop attacking, watch the landing zones, and walk into an open lane instead of dashing blindly through the centre.

Phase two adds a falling bell after Leap and a third bell after Bell Burst. Keep the same answers to Charge, Leap and Burst, but expect the follow-up. Trying to squeeze in an extra hit after a Leap is rarely worth being caught by the new ceiling bell.

Heal after the move, not during the warning

Bind after a completed Charge or once you have created distance after a Leap. Do not start it while the dust cloud is forming; that is the part of the fight that tells you where the next hitbox will be. A patient run wins this boss faster than losing Silk to a panic heal.

After the victory, use the station to travel between Bellways you have unlocked. Maps, Benches and Bellways explains how the network fits your route, and Rosaries, Shell Shards and Tools helps you keep enough currency for the next stop.
