The fight at Geumga Plaza sends the tenants and Seok-do's men to the police station. Young-ho's recording shows who started the assault, allowing Jipuragi to secure the residents' release. Their celebration gives way to another problem when Shinkwang Bank prepares to finance Babel. Vincenzo and Cha-young decide to approach its president Hwang Min-seong through his personal interests, hoping to stop the investment before Babel can recover from its recent legal defeat.
Vincenzo poses as Tae-ho and attracts Min-seong's attention at the stables. Cha-young and Joo-sung coach him through drinks and an amusement-park outing while he tries to keep the banker interested. The deception becomes harder to stomach when Min-seong boasts about the case against Oh Gyeong-ja. His account describes his father attacking her, her attempt to defend herself, and his family's willingness to let her carry the blame. Vincenzo now has an additional reason to bring him down.
Min-seong agrees to abandon Babel, but Myung-hee anticipates the move and brings his mother to the signing ceremony to complete the agreement herself. Jipuragi's investment plan has failed. The tenants still have another task: they exploit Min-seong's fear of zombies and send him fleeing into the public lobby. Police arrive to arrest him for assault and blackmail. Cha-young then declares her intention to keep attacking Babel, and Vincenzo helps her through the waiting reporters as the two leave together.
