Episode 6

Contains spoilers for this episode and earlier episodes.

Cha-young enters the Babel Chemicals hearing knowing that the judge is friendly with Wusang and the victims have little chance of a fair result. Jipuragi turns the courtroom into a distraction instead. A hornet targets the judge after a sticky substance is spilled on him, leaving his face swollen and forcing an adjournment. The week they gain is enough to prepare another approach, even as Myung-hee condemns the same underhanded behaviour her own side relies on.

Away from court, Vincenzo visits Oh Gyeong-ja in place of Yu-chan but struggles to speak kindly to the mother who left him behind. He says he will leave Korea and stop visiting. Monk Jeokha later talks with him about the anger he carries wherever he goes. His practical problems are no easier: the vault's electrical security still works, and an attempt to test it gives him a shock that An mistakes for an emotional act of prayer.

The plaza residents hear an unexpected visitor's story about hidden wealth, while Wusang's leaders discover that Joon-woo is actually the older Babel heir and their real boss. Jipuragi also recognises that Myung-hee's gift plant contains a listening device and sends it elsewhere to frustrate her eavesdropping. At the next hearing, Cha-young's intended witnesses are blocked. She answers by announcing a surprise witness with a direct connection to Babel Chemicals: Vincenzo walks into the courtroom beside a police officer, ready to support her case.
