The Tyrant's Tomb
Apollo has been turned into a mortal teenager and is working his way through five dead oracles in the hope of getting back what he lost.
About
The Tyrant's Tomb is a fantasy novel by the American writer Rick Riordan, published on 24 September 2019 and the fourth book of The Trials of Apollo.
Apollo was thrown down to earth by Zeus and is living as a mortal teenager called Lester Papadopoulos, without the powers he spent millennia using. To get back to Olympus he has to restore five oracles that have gone dark, and he has been managing that with the help of demigod friends. This leg of the journey takes him to Camp Jupiter in the Bay Area, where the Roman demigods are preparing a desperate defence against the Triumvirate, a group of Roman emperors. The answer to their problem turns out to lie in the tomb of a Roman ruler who is worse than the emperors Apollo has already dealt with.
The book is written for middle grade readers and is the fourth of the five volumes in the sequence.
