Neverseen

Neverseen is a fantasy novel by the American writer Shannon Messenger, published in 2015 and the fourth book of the Keeper of the Lost Cities series.

Sophie is on the run, and she is not on her own: the friends she made in the lost cities have gone with her to join the Black Swan, the secret organisation that has been watching over her. None of them is sure what the Black Swan actually wants, and the only way to find out is to work with it and see. As they settle into their new lives they find that the secrets involved are larger than they had assumed. Their enemies are not finished either, and they release a plague that puts a whole species at risk, which forces Sophie and the others to fight with everything they have while accepting that trusting the wrong person could get them killed. New allies join them as the work goes on, and the truth Sophie is chasing by the end of the book is one that would either save her world or take it apart.
