Passed Pawn

Spoilers for this episode.

Dolores takes Caleb to an Incite facility in Sonora, Mexico, where Solomon, an earlier predictive system, is kept. Caleb discovers that he was treated there as an outlier whose behavior resisted the system's plans. Patients who could not be successfully reconditioned remain suspended in cold storage. What he remembers as the aftermath of a military operation begins to separate from the work he actually did after leaving the army.

Caleb and Francis were used to capture other outliers through jobs arranged on Rico. The captive in his memories was a pharmaceutical executive who knew about the program and warned him that Francis would be paid to kill him. Caleb killed Francis first, then underwent treatment that altered his memory of the death. Dolores asks Solomon to adapt a strategy for revolution and appoints Caleb to lead it. When Maeve arrives, Dolores fights her to give the system time to finish its instructions.

Maeve badly damages Dolores, who reaches the facility's emergency switch and triggers an electromagnetic pulse. Solomon and both hosts shut down, but Caleb has received the drive containing the strategy and hears a voice offering further instructions. Elsewhere, Charlotte announces her own plans to Sato before Clementine and Hanaryo kill that Dolores copy. Bernard and Stubbs learn more about the outlier program, while William vows to destroy every host. They leave him alive, and he repays the decision by finding a shotgun and turning it on them.
