Dolores remains with William and Logan as their bounty hunt takes them farther from Sweetwater. William protects her place in the group, while Logan becomes interested in the larger adventure offered by their prisoner, Slim. Dolores experiences more troubling images, including a little girl and the maze. In a private examination, the man questioning her offers the maze as a path toward freedom. Elsewhere, the Man in Black follows his own clue to Armistice, whose snake tattoo records the people she has killed in revenge for her mother's death. He frees Hector from jail to earn her explanation and learns that Wyatt is the remaining target.
Ford's construction work brings him into conflict with Theresa, who tries to impose oversight on his new narrative. Over lunch, he demonstrates how completely the surrounding hosts answer to him and reveals knowledge of her personal life, leaving her warning with little force. Maeve pursues a more immediate question: the masked figures she remembers from the repair facility. After drawing one, she discovers that she has already hidden many versions of the same image. Hector identifies the figure through a story told within the park. With Hector, Maeve finds a bullet beneath her unscarred skin. Her memories now have physical evidence.
