Vincenzo and Cha-young reject the claim that four victims' relatives died by suicide. The police refuse to pursue their suspicions, so the pair catch the detectives with bribe money and threaten them near the edge of a rooftop. They demand a murder investigation. Footage of the vehicle offers another lead: a dent suggests the passengers were intercepted before the charcoal was placed inside. The attackers' false vehicle registration makes following that lead difficult.
The plaza tenants volunteer to help, and Jipuragi creates a masked broadcast mocking Babel, Wusang and the prosecutors protecting them. The show is meant to provoke the hidden boss into acting. Vincenzo follows with threats marked by a red letter C, frightening the people around the chairman. Joon-woo receives information about Vincenzo's Mafia work and sends killers after him. Myung-hee calls Jipuragi to complain about the broadcast, but the team hangs up on her.
Vincenzo advertises a visit to the underpass linked to the deaths, using himself as bait. Cha-young learns about his plan and races there with Joo-sung, Cheol-wook and Joon-woo. Vincenzo defeats the three gunmen despite being injured and questions a survivor about the chairman's contact number. Cha-young embraces him when she arrives. He tells her he has learned who Babo is, leaving the group facing a dangerous new piece of information at the underpass.
