Season synopsis

Geralt's search for Ciri continues with companions who gradually become a travelling group rather than temporary help. Milva, Jaskier, Zoltan and Cahir accompany him, while Regis proves to be a higher vampire with the knowledge to heal and advise him. Ciri lives apart from them under the name Falka, joining the Rats in theft and violence and finding a relationship with Mistle. Yennefer pursues Vilgefortz's growing control over magic.
Vilgefortz's seizure of the portals threatens the mages' ability to resist him. At Montecalvo, Fringilla works against him from inside his ranks, and Istredd destroys the portal room at the cost of his life. Yennefer reaches Nilfgaard and discovers that the emperor's Ciri is a decoy. After a brief reunion with Geralt, she helps the sorceresses agree on a new sisterhood. She then attempts to reach Vilgefortz, only to emerge over a stormy sea and disappear into a whirlpool.
Geralt's party reaches a bridge under attack while Milva suffers a miscarriage. Regis and Jaskier stay with her as the others fight. Geralt helps the Northern forces, and Queen Meve knights him as Geralt of Rivia, binding him to a crown when his own priority remains Ciri. Elsewhere, Bonhart destroys the Rats and defeats Ciri, taking her alive and forcing her to confront their deaths. The family remains separated, with Ciri captive and neither Geralt nor Yennefer able to reach her.
