Season synopsis

Two years after the first season’s accusations, Yoon-hee is treated as a fugitive and Ro-na is bullied as a murderer’s daughter. Dan-tae and Seo-jin are engaged, while Yoon-hee returns alongside doctor Ha Yoon-cheol, and Logan helps her expose those who framed her. A violent stabbing at the Cheong-ah Arts Festival brings the children back into the adults’ contest. Ro-na tries to earn a place at the school as Seo-jin’s daughter Eun-byeol and Dan-tae’s twins defend their status.
Yoon-hee and Yoon-cheol work against Dan-tae and Seo-jin, and Yoon-hee uses her singing to challenge Seo-jin at the arts center. Na Ae-gyo looks like Su-ryeon and is believed to be the twins’ biological mother; Su-ryeon has been impersonating Ae-gyo to deceive Dan-tae. Ro-na is stabbed at the festival and presumed dead. Dan-tae attacks her, but Su-ryeon gets her to hospital, where she survives surgery. The season also reveals Yoon-cheol is Ro-na’s biological father, tying his two daughters to the school conflict.
As their schemes unravel, Dan-tae and Seo-jin turn on one another and are sentenced for their crimes. Ro-na survives, Yoon-hee is imprisoned, and Dan-tae is jailed; Su-ryeon reclaims the penthouse and throws out her enemies’ belongings. Logan returns to Seoul with a ring, intending to propose, but a bomb explodes beside his car as Su-ryeon rushes to meet him. The season presents Logan as apparently killed, leaving the pair’s future cut short and another threat hanging over the residents.
