Retired Janitors of Idaho

Contains spoilers for this episode and earlier episodes.

The Roys and Kendall’s team arrive at Waystar’s shareholder meeting knowing that Sandy and Stewy could win control if the question goes to a vote. Both factions try to delay the vote while they negotiate a settlement. The outside investors demand board seats and veto power over any Roy named CEO; Gerri tries to keep the terms alive while Logan is unwell and repeatedly leaves the room, but he refuses to accept terms that would limit the family’s use of private jets. Greg asks his grandfather Ewan for help, only to learn that Ewan plans to leave his estate to Greenpeace. Logan’s assistant Kerry later tells Shiv that her father has a urinary infection.

As Logan becomes confused after missing medication, his staff take him away for medical care and Shiv begins negotiating without him. The President calls and Roman learns that he will not seek another term, partly because ATN has attacked his mental fitness. Shiv and Sandi agree to add a board seat for each side, and Tom relays the settlement terms to executives who sign without Logan’s final approval. Gerri and Karl announce the deal to shareholders. Kendall interrupts the announcement with a speech supporting the cruise victims, then discovers that Logan has left instead of meeting him. When Kendall calls, Logan has blocked his number. Tom’s attempt to discuss having a child with Shiv also leaves her unsettled.
