Tom has just taken over Parks and Cruises when he receives secret files documenting years of crimes and cover-ups aboard the company’s ships, including sexual assault and possible murder. He shares the discovery with Greg and considers going public. Shiv’s political work faces a problem of its own when an intimate photograph involving a client becomes a potential news story. At Waystar, Frank returns to mentor Roman, who has taken the chief operating officer job without much experience. Tom now holds records that could damage both the company and his position within the family.
Connor reads Kendall’s changed teleprompter text and mistakenly decides that his brother plans to announce Logan’s retirement at the gala. Connor tells Logan, who takes the speech away from Kendall and announces that he is returning as chief executive. Tom then asks Gerri what to do with the cruises documents; she warns him that disclosing them could be dangerous. Tom suspects Greg told her and accuses him of betraying him. Greg denies it, but Gerri later thanks him privately, confirming that he did share the information. The scandal remains hidden while Kendall’s plan to challenge Logan is pushed aside. Logan's return to the chief executive's seat publicly ends Kendall's temporary command.
