Ribbit and Rip it

Contains spoilers for this episode and earlier episodes.

Jennifer represents Eugene Patilio, whose attempt at heroics as Leap-Frog ended with his rocket boots catching fire. He blames his suit's designer, Luke Jacobson, putting Jen in conflict with her own tailor. Luke's lawyer is Matt Murdock, who defeats the claim after Eugene admits using jet fuel against instructions. Over a drink afterwards, Matt suggests that Jen's legal skills and She-Hulk's abilities could both help people. Their attraction is clear, though a call pulls him away before the evening can develop.

Eugene later calls Jen for help against an attacker. She puts on her new suit and intercepts Daredevil, only discovering after a fight that he is Matt. He explains that Eugene kidnapped Luke and is forcing him to improve the costume. Jen and Matt head to Leap-Frog's hideout, disagree over tactics, then combine his close combat with her strength to free Luke. The rescue repairs Jen's relationship with her tailor. She and Matt return to her apartment and spend the night together.

The next evening, Jen attends a legal awards gala with her parents proudly watching. She joins the other women receiving the Female Lawyer of the Year award, but her speech is interrupted when Intelligencia takes over the screens. The broadcast exposes private information and intimate footage of her with Josh. Despite Mallory's warning, She-Hulk smashes the display in fury. Guests flee, and armed officers surround Jen outside as she faces the consequences of her outburst. The public celebration ends with her standing under their weapons.
