Mark finds Helly hanging in the elevator and holds her while Graner cuts the cord. Cobel tells him that Helly has survived and will return, since her outside self refused to resign. At Lumon, Mark secretly reads Ricken's self-help book. Outside work, he visits Devon at a birthing lodge and stays as she gives birth to a daughter. Helly comes back to the severed floor, where Ms. Casey is assigned to watch her. Irving finds a printer image of O&D attacking MDR, deliberately planted by Milchick to discourage his visits to Burt.
Milchick apologizes and claims the disturbing image was sent to the wrong printer by accident, but Irving visits Burt for an explanation. Mark uses a spilled coffee to get Ms. Casey out of the room, then takes Helly into the corridors to show her the map he has pieced together from Petey's drawing. She refuses to help him. The two find a hidden room where a worker tends baby goats and insists they are not ready. Cobel watches on camera. At O&D, Irving and Dylan find a reversed version of the attack painting, revealing that Lumon has fed both teams a false story. Burt then introduces them to the whole team. Mark asks Helly to help complete Petey's map, and she agrees.
