Season synopsis
Contains spoilers for this season and earlier seasons.
Clay and Quinn survive Katie’s shooting, but Clay needs a kidney transplant. Nathan offers to donate and is ruled out; another donor saves Clay. Back trouble ends Nathan’s professional basketball career, so he joins Clay’s sports agency. Brooke faces a different loss when financial misconduct at Clothes Over Bro’s threatens its investors. Rather than leave them unpaid, she sells the company. Quinn returns home frightened that Katie is still free and could attack again.
A storm brings Katie back to the beach house. Quinn survives their struggle and shoots her attacker. Elsewhere, Lauren’s car crashes with Jamie, Chuck and Madison inside. Brooke helps the others out but stays with the trapped Jamie; another vehicle knocks the car off the bridge. Julian dives in, frees Jamie and pulls Brooke from the water, then revives her. Brooke and Julian later marry, but their adoption plans fall apart when the baby’s mother decides to keep her child.
Haley gives birth to Lydia, named for her late mother, while Brooke unexpectedly discovers she is pregnant. The friends begin restoring Karen’s Café in the former Clothes Over Bro’s premises, giving Brooke and Haley somewhere to work together. Nathan and Clay pursue new clients, and Nathan makes a tentative visit to Dan. The finale moves through the coming months: Brooke delivers twin sons, Davis and Jude, and the café opens with the families gathered around their children.
