Khonshu restores their powers, and Steven negotiates their release from his service once Ammit is defeated. Layla temporarily accepts Taweret's power and joins the battle in Cairo. As Khonshu fights Ammit, Marc and Steven switch between Moon Knight and Mr. Knight against Harrow. He nearly wins before another blackout interrupts their memories. They regain awareness with Harrow beaten and cannot explain what happened. Marc and Layla bind Ammit inside Harrow, containing the goddess within a mortal body.
Khonshu demands that Marc kill Harrow and Ammit together. Marc refuses and insists that the god honour their agreement to release him and Steven. After rejecting the hospital version of Harrow, they wake together in Steven's London flat. The apparent freedom has a limit they have not discovered. In the mid-credits scene, another man removes Harrow from a psychiatric hospital and takes him to a limousine. Khonshu introduces the driver as Jake Lockley, a third identity who still serves him.
