Sleeping Witch

Contains spoilers for this episode and earlier episodes.

Moon-young follows Gang-tae into his new workplace and makes her interest impossible to ignore. He objects to her touching him and refuses to accept her pursuit as a reason to abandon his boundaries. Hospital staff invite her to teach literature to patients, a proposal she initially rejects before taking up the class. Her return also brings her near her father, Ko Dae-hwan, and memories of his violence toward her. At home, Sang-tae explains that he is saving for a camper van so the brothers can travel without repeatedly finding somewhere to live. Director Oh recognizes his drawing ability and offers him a mural commission.

Moon-young settles into the family mansion despite Sang-in's warnings about its reputation. A nightmare turns the house into the castle of a sleeping princess threatened by a maternal figure. Back at the hospital, patient Kwon Gi-do tells Gang-tae about his recent exploits and his strained relationship with his politician father. When Gi-do leaves the ward, Moon-young takes him in her car and drives away as Gang-tae tries to stop them. Gang-tae follows, and the pursuit ends at Gi-do's father's campaign event. Gi-do seizes the microphone to describe being overlooked and confined by his family. Watching him speak, Gang-tae briefly considers Moon-young's invitation to let himself have some fun.
