Gang-tae leaves the publishing office with Moon-young's autograph and an invitation for Sang-tae to attend her book launch. He takes his brother himself when Jae-su fails to arrive. Sang-tae approaches a child wearing a dinosaur costume, but the child's father pushes him and pulls his hair. Gang-tae rushes back to help, and Moon-young demands an apology before retaliating against the man. The confrontation is recorded, creating another problem for Sang-in. A critic then threatens Moon-young's career and provokes her about her family. Their encounter on the stairs ends with the critic falling and Gang-tae trying to calm Moon-young before she can escalate matters again.
Ju-ri offers Gang-tae a job at OK Psychiatric Hospital and a room in her mother's house, but returning to his hometown means approaching memories he has avoided. Gang-tae initially refuses the offer, then asks Sang-tae whether he would like to return. His brother agrees, and Gang-tae accepts the position. Meanwhile, recordings from the launch spread and Moon-young's publisher faces complaints and restrictions on her work. Moon-young obtains information about Gang-tae and drives to Seongjin.
