The Queen's Justice

Contains spoilers for this episode and earlier episodes.

Jon and Davos arrive at Dragonstone and surrender their weapons before meeting Daenerys. She demands that Jon recognize her claim to the Seven Kingdoms; he refuses and asks for help against the White Walkers instead. Neither accepts the other's priorities. Tyrion believes Jon's warning and persuades Daenerys to let him mine dragonglass, giving them a practical agreement without settling the question of allegiance. At sea, survivors from Yara's fleet rescue Theon but reject his claim that he tried to save her.

Euron parades his prisoners through King's Landing and delivers Ellaria and Tyene to Cersei. Cersei poisons Tyene with a kiss and tells Ellaria she will remain alive to watch her daughter die. When the Iron Bank demands repayment, Cersei promises to clear the debt soon. At Winterfell, Sansa supervises preparations for winter and reunites with Bran, but his account of being the Three-Eyed Raven and his knowledge of her wedding night disturb her. Ebrose declares Jorah cured and punishes Sam's disobedience with copying work.

Grey Worm leads the Unsullied through Casterly Rock's sewers, following Tyrion's plan, and captures the castle with unexpectedly little resistance. Euron's ships then destroy their fleet, stranding them. Jaime has moved the main Lannister force away to take Highgarden instead, securing the Tyrells' wealth while leaving Daenerys's army far from the capital. Jaime offers Olenna a painless poison. She drinks it, then reveals that she killed Joffrey and asks Jaime to make sure Cersei knows. Jaime leaves her with that confession.
