Paul Young returns to Wisteria Lane after Felicia Tillman's frame-up is exposed, and Susan discovers that the man she thought was imprisoned is her family's landlord. Unable to afford their old life, Susan secretly models for Maxine's online cleaning business. Paul buys homes to force approval for a halfway house, while his new wife Beth—Felicia's daughter—tries to learn his secrets. Bree begins dating contractor Keith, and Lynette's old friend Renee arrives with a history she shared with Tom.
Gabrielle and Carlos discover that Juanita was switched at birth and meet their biological daughter Grace, but Grace's parents soon take her away. Paul's halfway house sparks a protest that becomes a riot: Bree fires a warning shot, Susan is trampled and loses a kidney, and Paul is shot the following morning. Beth dies by suicide, leaving a kidney for Susan; Paul lets the transplant proceed. Bree learns Keith has a son and ends their relationship so he can move to Florida. Bree tells Carlos that Andrew ran over his mother years earlier; Carlos forgives Andrew but cuts Bree off for hiding it.
Felicia poisons Paul's food while helping Susan cook, and Susan is arrested when Paul suspects her. Paul withdraws the accusation against Susan. Felicia later kidnaps Paul and attacks Susan; Paul stops her, releases her, and turns himself in for Martha Huber's murder. Felicia dies in a car crash. In the finale, Gabrielle confronts her abusive stepfather Alejandro, who later attacks her at home. Carlos kills him with a candlestick, and Bree, Susan and Lynette hide the body. Lynette and Tom decide to separate.
