Season synopsis
Contains spoilers for this season and earlier seasons.
The sixth season opens by revealing that Mike's bride is Susan, leaving Katherine devastated. Lynette learns she is pregnant with twins, while Bree's affair with Karl complicates her attempt to leave Orson. Angie, Nick and their son Danny move onto Wisteria Lane under assumed identities. Danny becomes close to Julie, who is strangled outside her home; suspicion falls on him, but he is released without evidence against him. The Bolens' guarded past becomes the season's central mystery.
Angie and Nick are hiding from Patrick Logan, Angie's former partner and Danny's biological father. Years earlier, she had joined Patrick's eco-terrorist group and fled with Nick after an innocent man died during a protest. Patrick later tracks them down and runs Nick over, though Nick survives. Meanwhile, Lynette and Gabrielle's friendship fractures over Lynette's concealed pregnancy and Carlos's treatment of her at work. At Christmas, a plane crashes into the neighborhood festival: Karl and blackmailer Mona die, Orson is paralyzed, and one of Lynette's unborn twins is lost.
Patrick forces Angie to build a bomb and holds Danny hostage. Angie secretly puts the real explosive in the detonator, making the bomb Patrick plants in the house a decoy; when he activates the device, the blast kills him. Gabrielle funds Angie and Nick’s escape; Danny joins Ana in New York. Bree surrenders her company to Rex’s son Sam, who threatens to expose Andrew’s hit-and-run; Orson leaves her. Eddie Orlofsky is exposed as the Fairview Strangler. Holding Lynette hostage, he delivers her baby; she persuades him to surrender. Susan and Mike leave Wisteria Lane after financial trouble, and Paul Young returns as the new tenant of their house.
