Season synopsis
Contains spoilers for this season and earlier seasons.
Jinx’s rocket attack on Piltover’s Council wrecks the fragile chance of peace and pushes the cities toward war. Caitlyn, grieving her mother, joins a strike force into Zaun; Vi fights beside her, but their partnership strains as Caitlyn embraces harsher tactics and Vi becomes caught between her sister and her city. Jinx is drawn into the power vacuum after Silco’s death as Zaun’s chem-barons fight to claim his throne, and she takes in the orphan Isha. The sisters’ clashes turn personal again when Vi tries to stop Jinx, while the Hexcore transforms the injured Viktor into a healer whose followers gather around him in the undercity.
Jayce, Ekko and Heimerdinger discover that the Hextech crisis reaches beyond the cities when an unstable anomaly distorts reality. Elsewhere, Singed’s experiments reveal that Vander survived as the beast Warwick. Vi and Jinx try to bring him back, but their chance ends when Isha sacrifices herself to save them during Ambessa’s assault on Viktor’s commune. Mel is drawn into the Black Rose’s schemes and discovers her own magic. The conflicts converge at the Hexgates, where Viktor attempts to impose a shared, controlled evolution on humanity. Jayce reaches him through their bond and breaks his resolve; Ekko’s time device helps interrupt the plan. As Viktor’s followers are freed from his control, Jayce and Viktor vanish together within the anomaly. Jinx disappears after an apparent sacrifice, while the closing scenes leave her fate uncertain. Vi and Caitlyn survive together.
