Spoilers for this episode.
Jack stops Audrey's bleeding and pursues Henderson with help from Chloe, who is working at Buchanan's house. Jack forces Henderson's car off the road and captures him at a nursery. Henderson claims that his men will kill Heller unless he checks in regularly. A helicopter is already tracking the Secretary's vehicle. Refusing to be used as leverage, Heller drives off the road into the water, leaving Audrey and Jack believing he has sacrificed himself.
The recording is missing from Henderson's possessions. Chloe checks earlier satellite images and traces a meeting that leads Jack back to a diplomatic flight at Van Nuys. Jack leaves Audrey guarding Henderson until Curtis arrives. Henderson's men reach the nursery first and briefly release him, but Curtis rescues Audrey and takes Henderson back into custody. Audrey cannot bring herself to shoot Henderson, even while she believes he caused her father's death.
Martha is locked away while Logan admits his connection to the people behind Palmer's murder and asks her to remain silent. Karen's doubts grow as she learns what Chloe has alleged about the President. When Miles traces Chloe to Buchanan's house, Karen secretly warns Buchanan that a team is coming. Jack cannot delay the diplomatic flight or obtain its passenger list in time, so he slips into the aircraft's cargo compartment as it prepares to depart.
