Set Up a Friendly Battle That Answers One Deck Question
On this page
Choose one deck question before inviting a partner to a Friendly Battle. On Clash Royale mobile, a standard 1v1 lets you practise when to spend a card, where to defend or when your tower needs help.
Start with the deck and the question
Select the deck you want to learn. Agree with your partner on a normal duel or a repeated situation, such as another attempt at an attack that troubled you.
Make the question specific: “Did I spend that card before I needed it?” gives you something to watch. “Is this deck good?” is hard to settle from one battle.
Invite a friend or clanmate
Open the Social tab at the bottom of the screen, tap the friend, then select Friendly Battle. You can also start through clan Chat. Choose 1v1 Battle for ordinary practice; the 2v2 option is available through Clan Chat. Friendly Battle entry points
If your partner is nearby, use Quickplay in Social. One player shows their Quickplay QR code and the other scans it to start a Friendly Battle. Have the intended deck ready before scanning. Quickplay
Use ordinary battle rules for a question about your normal deck. Rotating special battles can change the situation you’re trying to understand.
Watch one decision while you play
For an Evolution question, follow the Evolution setup and readiness guide. Notice when you spend the card while continuing to defend.
For a tower question, use the Tower Troop comparison guide. Ask for similar pressure, leave the normal cards unchanged and watch when you assist the tower.
Use the rematch to change one thing
Describe the moment you want to improve: “I used my answer before the next push arrived.” In the rematch, try holding that card longer or changing its placement. A win alone won’t tell you whether that decision worked.
Friendly Battles use tournament rules and upscale cards to the tournament cap. They award no Trophies, Gold or Gems. Keep those level conditions in mind when carrying an exact damage interaction into another mode. Friendly Battle rules
