Who's Your Mummy?
Abby and Peter are staying with their uncle Jonathan in an eerie old village, and their uncle knows a great deal about Egypt: his living room looks like an ancient tomb.
About
Who's Your Mummy? is a Goosebumps HorrorLand book by R. L. Stine, published in 2009 and set partly in the theme park that gives the spin-off series its name.
Abby and Peter are sent to stay with their uncle Jonathan in an eerie old village, and what they find there does not reassure them. Uncle Jonathan knows a great deal about Egypt and has furnished his living room like an ancient tomb, which is interesting for about five minutes and considerably less so once noises begin coming from parts of the house the children are not supposed to enter. The book mixes its mummy story with the wider HorrorLand business, in which Slappy the dummy and other familiar villains have been sighted inside the park, and in which a monster named Byron might be an ally if the children can find him first.
Stine's Goosebumps books are short and built on a single unnerving idea, and the HorrorLand sequence strings them together with a continuing mystery about the park and the children trapped in it.
