Hunted
Zoey's friends have her back again and the red fledglings are no longer Neferet's secret, but an unexpected danger has emerged: Neferet is guarding her powerful new consort, Kalona, and nobody at the House of Night seems to understand the threat he poses.
About
Hunted is a novel by P. C. Cast and Kristin Cast, published on 10 March 2009 and the fifth book of the House of Night series. It picks up the story after the events of the previous volume.
Kalona has sprung free of his prison and now reigns over the minds and hearts of the fledglings at the Tulsa House of Night. Zoey and her friends are hiding deep underneath Tulsa, and they are about to find out that they cannot hide forever.
Stevie Rae survived the arrow that was meant to kill her, though it took most of her lifeblood, and that is what allowed Kalona to be freed from the earth. She and Zoey are reconciled in this book, and the red fledglings are no longer a secret.
The novel is a young adult vampire story about students who have to work out how to send Kalona and Neferet away, and it puts a charming and dangerous figure in the middle of a school that has already been deceived once.
