Dreams of a Dark Warrior

Dreams of a Dark Warrior is a paranormal romance by Kresley Cole, published in 2011. It is the eleventh book of the Immortals After Dark series.

Aidan the Fierce was murdered before he could wed Regin the Radiant, and he swore that he would come for her. He has been reborn many times since into new identities, and each time he arrives without any memory of the lives that came before.

When Regin meets Declan Chase she recognises her warlord in him, but Declan is a soldier who takes her captive and who intends retribution against all immortals, without knowing that he belongs to their world. Remembering is what would bring Aidan back, and it is also what would kill him, which is the problem the two of them have to solve.

The bargain has a cost attached to it, because Aidan is fated to die whenever his memories return, and the book is the story of two people who love each other and cannot both have what they want at the same time.
