Spoilers for this episode.
Dolores begins her life outside Westworld by confronting Gerald, a wealthy former park guest, in his own home. She forces him to surrender confidential files about Incite, then leaves him dead after he attacks her. Her next approach is quieter: she becomes Liam Dempsey Jr.'s girlfriend under a stolen identity, hoping his position at Incite will give her access to the system called Rehoboam.
In Los Angeles, Caleb Nichols works construction and takes illegal jobs through the Rico app while struggling to find a better future. He receives calls in the voice of Francis, the friend he believes he lost in combat, but the conversations belong to a therapeutic service. Caleb finally ends those calls. A delivery job brings him to the men preparing to dispose of an unconscious Dolores, and their treatment of her troubles him.
Liam's security chief, Martin Conells, has discovered Dolores's false identity. His attempt to kill her fails, and she forces him to name Serac before a host replica replaces him. Wounded in the escape, Dolores collapses into Caleb's arms when he returns to help. Elsewhere, the host resembling Charlotte Hale urges Delos to restart host production, while Bernard fights off men who recognize him and arranges passage back to Westworld. After the credits, Maeve wakes in a room overlooking Nazi-occupied streets.
