Season synopsis
Contains spoilers for this season and earlier seasons.
At the start of the season, Tori and Beck agree to an opposite date so their outing cannot be mistaken for a real date; Jade hears about it and follows with Cat. Elsewhere, Tori helps Robbie train for a hamboning contest after he loses to a challenger from her past. The group's school schemes continue: they hide in Wanko's Warehouse during a sale, give up their portable electronics for a week, and compete over followers on The Slap, at the cost of their assignments and friendships.
Beck's breakup with Jade carries forward from the previous broadcast season. When he wants to ask out Meredith, Tori and André try to find Jade a date too, but the arrangement makes Beck confront what he misses about his former relationship. Meredith agrees with everything he wants, and Beck decides that ease feels boring; Jade's song at school gives them a way to admit they miss each other, and they get back together. Separate episodes keep the rest of the circle busy, including Robbie's decision about selling Rex and André's difficult attempt to write at Tori's house.
For Sikowitz's challenge, the students agree to say yes to requests for the rest of the day, except those involving kissing, danger, or illegal acts. Beck uses the rule to get Jade to join him at a drag race, but Sinjin goes with him instead and the two bond over building race cars. Tori and Jade accept Trina's invitation to see her supposedly acclaimed Mexican television role. They discover a low-budget comedy in which Trina plays a piece of cheese chased by children in mouse costumes, then join her in the scene and flee with her as the mice close in.
