Kelli tells Christopher she is pregnant, and he proposes marriage. They marry and purchase a large house. On a trip with Tony, Christopher helps steal wine that two bikers are taking from a liquor store. As they escape, he exchanges gunfire with one biker and wounds him. Tony and Christopher celebrate their success and Christopher's marriage over wine, breaking Christopher's abstinence. They recall his disclosure that Adriana was cooperating with the FBI.
Christopher later pays Corky for his role in Rusty's murder, partly with heroin. Watching Corky use it, Christopher relapses himself and wanders through the street festival in a stupor. Paulie's organization of the feast creates separate trouble. He refuses the church's demand for a larger payment, so the saint's statue appears without its traditional gold hat. A teacup ride then malfunctions and injures several people. Janice, who was not hurt, claims a neck injury after hearing about possible compensation.
Bobby learns that Paulie refused to pay for safer equipment and a repair crew, and their confrontation threatens to become a lasting feud. Tony tells Paulie to resolve it. Nucci criticizes Paulie's cost cutting, but he swears at her and leaves. Worried about his health and unable to sleep, Paulie goes to the Bada Bing early and sees a vision of the Virgin Mary. That evening, he visits Nucci and quietly watches television beside her.
