The Boys prepare another supply of virus while seeking Bombsight through the Legend and his former partner Golden Geisha. Hughie and Annie try to plant the weapon at Homelander's church, but Oh Father discovers them and the mission fails. Sage learns through Ashley's second face that Soldier Boy intends to help Homelander obtain V1, then changes sides rather than continue trusting that her manipulation will make him destroy it.
The Deep agrees to promote Vought's Alaskan oil project, but Black Noir sabotages it in revenge for Bourke's death. The resulting spill kills sea life, and the Deep kills Noir during their confrontation. At the Boys' hideout, Golden Geisha explains that she does not want immortality even though Bombsight stole V1 for her. Kimiko recognizes the cost of outliving loved ones, and the team's goal becomes destroying the remaining dose.
Sage uses Golden Geisha to draw out Bombsight, then brings Soldier Boy into the confrontation. The two older Supes fight before reaching an agreement: Soldier Boy removes Bombsight's powers so he can share an ordinary life with her, and Bombsight hands over V1. Sage expects the dose to be destroyed, but Soldier Boy gives it to Homelander instead. Homelander injects himself as the Boys watch, forcing them to flee from an enemy the virus can no longer reliably defeat.
