The Boys infiltrate Tek Knight's gathering by sending Hughie in Webweaver's costume. Hughie is still grieving his father but insists on joining the mission. Tek Knight takes him into a private room where the disguise leaves him trapped in a sexual assault he cannot stop with the safe word he does not know. Annie and Kimiko search for him while Mother's Milk encounters Sage and shoots her before suffering a panic attack.
A-Train takes Mother's Milk to hospital, briefly experiencing the response of someone seeing him perform a real rescue. At the party, Homelander struggles to explain the political takeover without Sage's help, and Neuman supplies the promises the powerful guests want. Annie and Kimiko free Hughie and force Tek Knight to talk by giving away his money. He reveals that his prisons will become internment camps, prompting his butler to kill him.
Butcher continues forcing Sameer to strengthen the virus. Sameer warns that a version capable of killing Homelander could become an airborne plague against all Supes, including Annie, Kimiko and Ryan. Kessler urges Butcher to continue and responds to the imagined Becca, exposing that he too exists only in Butcher's mind. The ally encouraging this escalation is a hallucination of a man Butcher failed to save, tied to the power growing inside him.
