Pablo celebrates his birthday in hiding with Limón, listening as his family sings to him over the radio. A dream gives him the presidency he once wanted, but he wakes to a small house and a dwindling circle of support. Restless, he ventures into Medellín and imagines speaking with Gustavo, briefly escaping the confinement that now defines his days as a fugitive.
Tata begs him to surrender for the children's sake and discusses a possible interview that might put his position before the public. Their radio conversations also help Martínez and his son narrow the search. An initial attempt misses him, but a sighting at a window gives the police the location they need. Murphy joins the force converging on the house, and Pablo and Limón flee across the roofs when the officers arrive.
Both fugitives are shot dead, ending the pursuit that has consumed Murphy's time in Colombia. Tata turns to Gilberto Rodríguez for help leaving the country, and he demands what remains of the family's wealth. Peña, back in the United States, expects a disciplinary review over Los Pepes. Instead, operations officials ask about Cali. As the Rodríguez organisation celebrates the removal of its rival, Peña learns that cocaine shipments increased during the hunt for Pablo and that another investigation is already waiting.
