On Christmas morning, Elliot burns the crashed surveillance van before Darlene picks him up. The siblings head to Virtual Realty, whose servers hold the access they need for their attack on Cyprus National Bank. They enter using false identities and work around the building's security, including cameras and fingerprint access. Elliot installs a firmware hack, giving them a short window in which to complete their work. Their movements attract attention, and he cuts the power as a guard closes in. The intrusion becomes a police emergency, leaving both siblings inside a building where their cover is starting to fail.
Elliot draws pursuit away from Darlene and runs through the city, taking the officers into Central Park. She changes her appearance and leaves as a gym customer while he continues trying to lose the police. After being struck by a car, Elliot jumps over a barrier and reaches Darlene's waiting vehicle. Their escape gives them server access, but the money has not yet been taken. Janice sends Dom to take control of the investigation into the burned van, then redirects her towards the siblings when traffic footage exposes their movements. Price learns that Tyrell will not attend the Deus meeting, which is still going ahead. Outside Krista's apartment, Vera and his men confront her and demand a conversation.
