Elliot uses Ray's computer to begin working against the FBI while keeping up the appearance of repairing Ray's site. He asks to speak with RT, the previous administrator, whose injuries suggest that this job carries risks beyond a broken server. Ray permits the meeting but has already warned Elliot against looking at the site's contents. Elliot's concern for the people behind the service eventually outweighs his willingness to obey that restriction.
Darlene asks Angela to help erase the FBI records that could connect her to the infected Allsafe disc. Angela initially refuses. A meeting with Ollie changes her position when she discovers that he is recording their conversation and has spoken to investigators. Elliot talks with her, and she agrees to work with Darlene. Joanna handles another threat to Tyrell by having the parking attendant who knows about his car killed, with the scene arranged to resemble a robbery.
Dom travels with the FBI delegation to Beijing after evidence at Steel Mountain points toward the Dark Army. Minister Zhang welcomes the visitors and has a private conversation with her about time and the choices that brought her to the bureau. The visit ends in gunfire as attackers strike the delegation. Back in Elliot's world, opening Ray's site exposes a marketplace selling people and other illegal goods. Ray's men seize Elliot and beat him for looking.
