Part 4 opens with the Professor believing Lisbon has been executed and declaring war, while the crew tries to save Nairobi after the sniper’s shot. They operate on her inside the Bank of Spain, and she begins to recover. After losing command, Palermo helps Gandía, the bank’s head of security, escape his restraints. Gandía turns the building into a hunt: he traps Tokyo, takes Nairobi hostage and shoots her in front of the crew. The loss pushes the robbers toward killing him, but the Professor insists they keep him alive as part of the plan. Rio, still shaken by his torture, struggles with panic, while Manila reveals herself as an undercover member of the gang when Arturo arms himself and threatens the hostages.
Outside, the Professor and Benjamin’s crew carry out Plan Paris to extract Lisbon from police custody. After Alicia Sierra publicly admits that the government knew about Rio’s torture, Tamayo loses control of the story and the police move Lisbon toward court. A tunnel beneath the courthouse lets Benjamin’s team hide in the parking garage; a fake wall conceals the opening until Lisbon arrives. At the bank, Tokyo and the others capture Gandía and use him to draw a helicopter to the roof. Lisbon arrives by helicopter and rejoins the crew. They mark Nairobi’s death by promising to win the heist in her name. As the team celebrates the rescue, Alicia tracks the Professor’s hideout and holds him at gunpoint, ending the part with him cornered outside the bank.
