Loki wakes in the Void, where the TVA dumps what it prunes and a cloud creature named Alioth consumes the remains. Four surviving variants lead him to shelter: Kid Loki, Classic Loki, Boastful Loki and an alligator. Their accounts of escape offer little confidence that he can leave, but Loki wants to confront the creature rather than remain trapped. Boastful Loki betrays the group to President Loki, only for their rival bids for power to become a brawl. Classic Loki helps the others escape the fighting. Back at headquarters, Renslayer and Miss Minutes stall Sylvie with promises of help until hunters arrive.
Sylvie prunes herself to reach the Void and briefly touches Alioth with her enchantment before Mobius rescues her. Reunited with Loki, she explains that the creature may guard the person controlling the TVA, and that enchanting it could open the way through. Mobius takes a TemPad back to headquarters to expose the agency's deception, while Loki stays with Sylvie. Their first attempt cannot hold Alioth's attention long enough. Classic Loki returns and conjures a vast illusion of Asgard, giving them time at the cost of his life. Loki joins Sylvie's enchantment, and together they subdue the creature. A citadel appears beyond the cleared clouds, offering a destination rather than an answer about its occupant.
