Arya wears Walder Frey's face and serves poisoned wine to the Frey men gathered in his hall. After they collapse, she reveals herself and leaves a surviving woman to carry word of the revenge for the Red Wedding. Heading south to kill Cersei, Arya shares a meal with Lannister soldiers who treat her kindly. Elsewhere, the Hound and the Brotherhood shelter at the farm he once robbed. The farmer and his daughter are dead; after seeing a vision of the dead marching toward Eastwatch in the flames, he buries them.
Bran and Meera reach the Wall, where Edd admits them after Bran reveals knowledge of the fighting at Hardhome. At Winterfell, Jon orders men and women to train for war and sends Tormund to defend Eastwatch. Sansa objects when he lets the young Umber and Karstark heirs keep their homes despite their fathers' betrayals. A demand that Jon swear loyalty to Cersei prompts another disagreement: Jon focuses on the dead, while Sansa warns him against dismissing the queen.
Cersei and Jaime assess their enemies as Euron arrives offering ships and marriage. Cersei rejects the marriage proposal, and Euron promises to return with a gift that will earn her trust. At the Citadel, Sam steals access to restricted books and learns of a large dragonglass deposit beneath Dragonstone. He sends the discovery to Jon and encounters an isolated greyscale patient, Jorah. Daenerys finally lands at Dragonstone, walks through the ancestral castle and reaches its war room with her advisers.
